LG has launched its K-series smartphones K10, K7

The South Korean smartphone manufacturer LG has launched its new K series smartphones. The manufacturer introduced K10 and K7 handsets in the K series. The company claims that K Series smartphones will be the first to offer LG’s glossy pebble design, stylish look with a curved, modern finish designed especially for young people.

Speaking about the K series, Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, said, “our 2016 K Series is the latest example of LG applying it best mobile technology and premium design philosophy across numerous smartphone categories. Customers equate the LG name with great smartphone imaging technology and we are committed to delivering on that flattering expectation.”

On the specification front, the LG K10 features a 5.3-inch HD display with a pixel density of 720p. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and offers dual SIM functionality. The device is available with four CPU variants, 1.2 GHz or 1.3 GHz quad-core and 1.14 GHz octa-core for the LTE version. However, the 3G variant is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC.

The LTE variant of the LG K10 comes equipped with a 13.0-megapixel rear camera while the 3G model has an 8.0-megapxiel primary camera. The device will come with an 8.0-megapxiel or 5.0-megapxiel front facing camera depending on the different markets. The smartphone offers 1GB, 1.5GB, or 2GB, whereas the internal storage is either 8GB or 16GB.

On the other hand, the LG K7 flaunts a 5-inch display with 854×480 pixels resolution, and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The device packs in a 2,125 mAh battery and comes equipped with a 5.0-megapixel shooter at the front end. The LTE version of the smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz processor while the 3G variant features a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC.

The primary camera of the smartphone will be either 8.0-megapixel or 5.0-megapixel depending upon the various markets. The device offers 1.5GB/1GB of RAM, and the built-in storage is 8GB/16GB. The South Korean manufacturer has not yet revealed the pricing and availability details of the smartphones.
