If you have received a disturbing notification from Facebook saying “Your account is restricted for 2 days, 7 days, or 48 hours”, “You can’t post, comment or use Messenger” then this article can guide you on how to deal with it.
Please note that a Facebook account restriction is different from a disabled Facebook account. In this case, we are talking about restricted Facebook account.
Most times, the reason why Facebook restricts accounts are not known. But the most reasons for restricting accounts are for not following Facebook standards. They are
- Posting things that don’t follow the Facebook Community Standards (ex: threats, hate speech, graphic violence).
- Using Facebook to bully, impersonate or harass anyone.
- Abusing Facebook features (ex: sending friend requests to many people you don’t know). Overusing features could make other people feel uncomfortable or unsafe. As a result, we have limits in place to limit the rate at which you can use features.
- Something you posted goes against our Community Standards on child nudity and sexual exploitation, so no one else can see it.
In this case, if you are found guilty, Facebook will get your account restricted for some days depending on the level of the offense.
But if your Facebook account was restricted without doing anything, then you may need to contact Facebook. You can contact Facebook through this link – https://web.facebook.com/help/contact/317389574998690
or
https://web.facebook.com/help/contact/260749603972907
Then one of the team should respond to your case.
Even if you have to call out names on Facebook, you should be very sensitive with the wording.
- Fool as fo*ol, fo ol
- bitch as bi*tch, bi tch
Note: We’re not promoting bully. It is for educational purposes.
