One of the good advantages of partitioning is that it allows you to recover a disk space after partitioning. I will be using Disk management but there are system utility software that can perform this task like OEM recovery partition, Mini Tool partition wizard home edition, EaseUS Partition master etc.

To save us the stress of looking up the internet for downloading links, we prefer using windows disk management.

Note:  All your files will be lost. Therefore, it is recommended make a back up of your files before continuing

Steps:

1. Press WIN+R, then type “diskmgmt.msc” and press Enter
2. On the disk management window, right click on the disk that you want to delete, then click on Delete Volume.

3. Click on Yes to confirm deletion. The deleted partition is now deleted and also unallocated space on the disk. You can now use this allocated space to extend your Local disk drive to another disk.
