I felt so cheated when I woke up around 1am to update all my apps. I quickly switch on my phone to connect to the internet but could not believe what I saw. I felt so cheated because I left my precious sleep in other to stress my eye balls. But I couldn’t do anything.
By mere looking at it, Airtel Nigeria was among the lead when it comes to night browsing. They offer more data than what other networks give. Imagine getting a 1.5GB of data for just ₦50. Etisalat and Glo would give 1GB at ₦200. Airtel might have probably learnt that their competitors were far more unadjusted to what they offer, so they shifted alongside with them.

Some special tips for Airtel SmartTRYBE Night browsing
I have experienced a particular challenge with this plan. When I subscribe to SmartTRYBE Night browsing on a night, the next night would not go. Though your airtime will be deducted but will eventually redirect you to Facebook free mode.
If you are to subscribe to SmartTRYBE night browsing; subscribe today, skip tomorrow and subscribe next tomorrow. there should be a one day interval if you really don’t want to regret it.

Hmm. APC
Airtel has always being shady… If a subscribe for the night plan before 12:30am, I may not get to use the whole 1.5gb before it redirects to free Facebook (which means it was cut). I will go back to glo night and weekend. It's a little more expensive but reliable plus I don't have to stay up all night on weekends and I see my data balance…
I used to enjoy Airtel night browsing but now it is a no recommend zone. I would have gone for Glo or Etisalat but there's no strong connectivity here.
