In this guide, you will learn the simple guide on how to change Tinder age to any age of your choice. This is essential for Tinder profiles with wrong age on their bio.
Please note that changing of Tinder age without losing one’s Tinder matches or bio details only works with profiles that were signed up using Facebook.
If your Tinder account was created with only phone number, there’s no chance of changing your Tinder age unless you delete your current account in order to create a new account with your own new age.
Now, if you logged in to Tinder using Facebook, you can change Tinder age as easily as possible without affecting anything on your Tinder account.
Because your Tinder account was logged in with Facebook, it means that it shares some personal data with Facebook which include;
- Facebook name,
- Facebook age,
- Facebook photo uploads,
- Gender and
- Pages you are following on Facebook as your Tinder interests.
To change Tinder age, the only thing you need is to quickly update your birthday on Facebook. You can still change it back again. To do this, follow the steps below;
How to change Facebook birthday
- From your News Feed, click your name in the top left.
- Click About next to your name on your profile and select Contact and Basic Info in the left menu.
- Scroll down and hover over Birth Date or Birth Year, and then click Edit to the right of the info you’d like to change.
- Use the dropdown menus to change your birthday and use the audience selector to choose who can see it.
- Click Save Changes.
How to change Tinder Age?
Once you’re done changing your Facebook birthday, your Tinder age should automatically change back to your new age. If it does not change to your new age, please follow the steps below;
- Open Tinder app
- Navigate to Profile
- Click on the SETTINGS
- Then scroll down to Logout
Log out of Tinder. Then try to login back to Tinder after logging out. You may give it 10 minutes before logging out in order to fetch your new birthday from Facebook.
If your age still doesn’t change to your new age, continue using your old age until 24 hours before retrying the steps again below;
- Open Tinder
- Navigate to Profile
- Click on the SETTINGS
- Then scroll down to Logout.
I assume that your new age must have changed after 24 hours. In a case, if it doesn’t change, the only option which is not nice for someone that have had many matches and an ongoing Tinder subscription is deleting Tinder account.
If you decide to delete Tinder account, follow the process below;
- Open Tinder and tap the profile icon at the top of the main screen
- Go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
- If you sign in to Tinder using Facebook, update your name or age on your Facebook profile
- Open Tinder again, and create a new Tinder account.
I hope this guide helped you.
