WhatsApp Beta now has a video calling function in its version 2.16.80 for Android devices. This version gives access to video-calling from the call icon but is not yet functional and is available only to beta testers from Google’s beta testing programme. Click here to join the testing programme

Video calling has been available on Snapchat, Facebook Messenger, Hangouts… for a while now. There is no information yet about end to end encryption for video calling or if it will be used in groups

If you are not a beta tester,  you can download a copy of it from unknown sources from the web. Let’s just wait for the full implementation.
