WhatsApp version 2.16.118 has a new feature for its Android beta tester which allows users to reply to specific quoted chats even in group chats.

To use the feature, users need to select the chat they wish to reply in quote either text or media, then the long press on the chat and select ‘Reply’. Type your message in the small box that appears, press send or hit Enter.

Once sent, it shows up inside the conversation with the quote above it. For this to work, you should be updated to at least version 2.16.118.
